We sit beneath the starlight Luna's got us moon drunk We drink her joys and sorrows on a clear patch of earth, with the sky up above this is love and we don't have a thing to be saying to each other Anything we could say was already written in the constellations long before we came, so it shall remain, long after our stay

Cheeky Dawn 02:53
I hope you mean what you're sayin The void is a chasm that spreads between your thoughts and words and I'll never understand all the words that your sayin but I'll never stop trying you'll never understand all the songs that I'm playin, but that'll never stop your head nodding to the record (mm hmm!) never stop your head nodding the the record (mm hmm!)

All at once the birds start singing slowly morning's sweeping in, golden and the air still bears the semblance of a dream loveliest thing I've ever seen You, laying in the morning light We left all the windows open, now the dew falls in like rain from heaven and you wake, sunlight reflected in your eyes. Makes me regret all our goodbye's You, leaving in the morning light I'll remember you, laying in the morning light

Payten: Overcome with emotion dress it up in pink, I sit down and think and it was clear to me when the season turned to spring, I can't help it No one can do it quite like you do it, I wanna be around while you're blooming Yzech: Spring has got me thinkin bout the birds, I ain't talkin twitter nah! loving you is a verb even when loving is absurd. Muslim boi but the bells have got me running to the church all I want to do is nurture the seeds and all the leaves and all the flowers please believe me when I say, spring has got me thinkin bout the bees! and I ain't talkin bumble nah! I love you for free, no worries it ain't nothin to me. like the wind softly whispers to the trees, I wanna whisper little nothings in your ear. We're merely spirits possessed by the notion of motion, like the cliff greets the ocean who breaks a little part off to play in the waves a while. Like the rain greets the desert, who brings the lily to the Nile. Like the light in the valley of darkness, the same light that let's you know where you heart is. I just want to impart this little trinket, a nothing, a relic of love and when night comes I know it was a bright old day, but there's no clouds to insulate oh babe it's cold outside and everybody needs someone to keep them warm at night. And I just wanna keep you warm at night.

Danny Ricc 00:20
It ain't got to be a date Danny Ricc, Ain't no need to hesitate Danny Ricc, I just wanna grab a drink and shoot the shit Danny Ricc and if you'll let me maybe I can suck your dick
6.
Hierophant 03:41
Pop another klonopin, all up in your spot again baby can I holler 'gin I'll give you a call when you're sad I'll bring out the child again it suck bout what your father did, but I ain't got shit to do with him and neither do you! you were made by God from hydrogen so when I kiss up on your chin, we're just Allah lovin' and I like it when we slow down, sippin a spot of gin no talk of war or politics just me, and you hopin that we don't fall in what? (Love, love, love) If you could read me like a book would you still turn the page? would you love me in another time another age? Because I'd put it on the line for you, you're my fuckin world, my hierophant, my sage, I'll never go astray, Cause baby you're my favorite book I'll never put away, the kind that always keeps me guessing till the final page and I'll put it on the line for you you're my fucking world, my hierophant, my sage, Just for you I stay and I'm prayin that we don't fall in what? (love, love, love)

I walk to the woods to sit beneath the trees This is a place that's greatly comforting to me I climb to the top to see how tall I can be We are all small from above the canopy When I was a young boy I asked my father, "what will I be?" he said, "I hope you'll be much happier than me" (ain't got no time to be wasting gotta stand up strong, the world gonna knock you down) Now that I am a young man I ask my mother who she was, she said she wasn't nothing till she held me in her arms. Where we are is never where we dream and those things we dream is never what will be I'm looking out of my window at the mountains and the sea, I dip my feet to see how deep it all could be I'm lookin out of my window at a reflection of me, I close my eyes to be sure that I can see

Then Almitra spoke saying, "we would ask now of death" And he said: (INCOMPREHENSIBLE)

about

Reject Modernity is the first release by Seattle based songwriter/producer Lillian Minke Tahar. A deeply moody and ambiguously melancholy storm of swirling synthesizers, obscure samples, and lo-fi production, Reject Modernity touches on the futility of words, the hopefulness of childhood, and erotic scenarios involving certain Australian F1 drivers.

The record includes a handful of features including Payten Redwood (of New Love Syntax) on the giddy love song Springtime in Manila, and Anthony Canape (of Scorpio and the Hunter) on the heartfelt ballad Close to Home.

Reject Modernity was originally released in 2021 under the name MINKE.
